Grenled I'm so happy seeing mortaur come back after all these years, it's like a nightmare come true. The approach of the artist also matured throughout the years from hellish visions of Horror Vacui to a more vague, yet strong in it's presence, and I dare say - philosophical in some aspects "Life Without Life".
It's strange, it's colourful in texture, and I for one, love it. One of my favorite ambient releases of the year. Favorite track: Moving in Darkness.

MOULDY TOAST EATER Disturbing and original horror ambient project. twisted soundtextures and nightmarish overall moods. Each track has its own very unique flavour, but still fits perfect as a whole album..great work! Favorite track: ...Emptiness, Loneliness, Nonetheless.

Kahinat Mortaur never disappoints. The songs are pure hollow emptiness. Favorite track: No Plough Stops for the Dying Man.

Sweet Suburbia A fantastic & haunting masterpiece from Mortaur. " Moving in Darkness" is a sublime piece of work.

This Is Darkness A new release from Mortaur?!?!? The most unexpected surprise of the year! Life Without Life seems to be an improvement on everything Mortaur has done in the distant past. Horror ambient at its finest! Recommended!

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
